The CSA-Industry4.E kickoff meeting was held in Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) facilities in Rathcoole and Mullingar, Ireland on 18-19 October 2018 with all 5 partners participating.
The Industry4.E Lighthouse is one of three Lighthouses launched by ECSEL-JU (Industry4.E, Mobility.E and Health.E). To support the implementation of activities in relation to the Industry4.E Lighthouse, ECSEL JU and Horizon 2020 funded a Coordination and Support Action (CSA) for 24 months starting in October 2018. The five partners of CSA-Industry4.E will work together to support the Industry4.E Lighthouse Initiative Advisory Service (LIASE) in establishing the Industry4.E Lighthouse and intend to:
- Actively assist in enabling successful execution of the Digital Industry roadmap
- Engage research communities – coordinate the relevant stakeholders, project consortia and policy-makers
- Facilitate, support and assist Industry4.E projects in effectively exploiting project results
- Promote the Industry4.E Lighthouse visibility
- Ensure Industry4.E public engagement and outreach
